This guide walks you through installing Wisp on your machine for the very first time. The whole process takes under five minutes.
You need an active license before starting. Grab one from the Pricing page.
- Purchase a plan and create your account on the Pricing page.
- Open your Dashboard and press Download Client to get the loader.
- Extract the archive into a folder you can easily access.
- Fully close Minecraft and any launcher running in the background.
- Run the loader as administrator and sign in with your account.
- Launch your game — the module menu opens with Right Shift.
Add the loader folder to your antivirus exclusions. Signed builds can trigger false positives on some systems.
That's it. Wisp now stays up to date automatically — every future launch downloads the latest build for you.
First Launch

First time opening Wisp in game? Here is the fastest way to get a clean, natural setup.
- Open the module menu with Right Shift.
- Start with two or three modules max — less is more for a natural look.
- Open a module's settings with Right Click and tune curve and speed to your own playstyle.
- Save the setup as a profile so you can swap between servers instantly.
- Bind Panic Switch to a comfortable key. One press disables everything.

HWID Reset

Every license is bound to a single machine using a hardware fingerprint. Changed your PC or upgraded major parts? A reset frees your slot.
- Open your Dashboard.
- Go to the Hardware Lock panel.
- Press Reset HWID and confirm.
- Launch the loader on the new machine — it links automatically.
Resets are limited to one per 24 hours. Repeated reset attempts are flagged by our anti-sharing system and may lead to a license review.
If your reset is blocked or you replaced multiple components at once, open a ticket on the Support forum — the team handles hardware migrations manually.

Does Wisp work with my launcher?
Yes. Wisp is injectable and runs next to most popular launchers and modpacks with zero extra configuration.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Wisp runs on 1.8.9 and 1.21.11 — on Vanilla, Forge, Badlion and Lunar. New versions are announced in the changelog.
Do I need an alt account?
No. Wisp is engineered for your main account — modules are built to stay subtle and long-term safe.
What happens if something gets detected?
The Status page always shows the live detection state. If a module ever needs a fix, it is patched silently and noted in the changelog.
Can I share my license with a friend?
No. Licenses are hardware-locked and monitored. Sharing leads to an automatic suspension of the license without refund.

Security & 2FA

Your account holds your license — protect it like your main account. Two-factor authentication is the single best upgrade you can make.
- Open your Dashboard and go to Security.
- Press Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe.
Changing your password automatically signs out every other session — including the loader on other machines.
Good habits
- Use a unique password you don't use anywhere else.
- Never share your license key — staff will never ask for it.
- Check the Recent Activity table on your dashboard weekly.
